These messages received via some websites that enjoys high credibility, while in fact they are misleading.

How do we distinguish (Phishing Messages) from other normal messages?

Such messages request providing certain information, while normal messages received from well-known sites never request the provision of banking information or password or any other related data.

How phishing messages look like?

Such messages are sent by the official Web page of Ashur International Bank or any other official site, asking for account update or any related issue. You should not respond to such messages by any mean.

What if you received one of phishing emails?

In case you received any phishing email, Please follow these steps:

  • Do not respond
  • Do not call any of the telephone numbers stated in the message.

What kind of banking information, which I should not reveal to others including bank staff members?

  1. Your ATM card PIN number.
  2. User name and password of the online banking service.

Can Ashur International Bank for Investment requests information about passwords or user names?

No. However, the bank may call you on telephone directly or send you regular message to request general information but not related to passwords or other confidential data. You shall not divulge such information under any circumstances.
